    ENDOVASCULAR ANEURYSM TREATMENT

    Neurointerventional & Endovascular Treatment

When blood vessels in the brain, spine, or body become blocked, weakened, narrowed, or abnormal, advanced image-guided treatment can often help without open surgery. Neurointerventional and endovascular procedures are performed through a tiny catheter, usually inserted from the wrist or groin, and guided precisely inside the blood vessels.

Using advanced flat-panel Digital Subtraction Angiography, 3D rotational angiography, and DynaCT/cone-beam CT, doctors can view blood vessels in high detail during the procedure for safer planning and accurate treatment. These technologies help in conditions such as brain aneurysms, AVM, AV fistula, stroke, carotid narrowing, spinal vascular malformations, venous sinus disease, bleeding disorders, tumor embolization, and peripheral vessel narrowing. DynaCT can provide soft-tissue and vascular information directly inside the angio suite, helping improve procedural precision.

Treatment is delivered by a dedicated team including interventional neuroradiologists, neuroanaesthetists, nurses, and trained technicians—focused on precision, safety, and patient-centered care.

    Treatment Options

    • Cerebral aneurysm coiling, balloon-assisted and stent-assisted coiling
    • AVM, AV fistula, dural fistula, carotid cavernous fistula embolization
    • Acute stroke treatment with thrombolysis or mechanical thrombectomy
    • Carotid, intracranial, vertebral, renal, iliac, brachial and subclavian artery stenting
    • Spinal AVM/fistula embolization
    • Vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty
    • Bronchial artery embolization for hemoptysis
    • GI bleed, renal bleed, tumor and uterine fibroid embolization
    • TACE and preoperative tumor embolization
    • Diagnostic DSA, Wada test, balloon occlusion test, venous sampling and biopsy procedures

    FAQs

    What is neurointervention?

It is a minimally invasive treatment method where doctors treat brain and spine blood vessel problems through small catheters instead of open surgery.

    Is DSA only diagnostic?

No. DSA helps diagnose blood vessel problems and also guides treatments like coiling, embolization, stenting, and thrombectomy.

What is the benefit of 3D angiography and DynaCT?

They provide detailed 3D vessel and soft-tissue views during the procedure, helping doctors plan and treat with better accuracy.

    Who may need these procedures?

Patients with aneurysm, stroke, AVM, fistula, narrowed arteries, abnormal bleeding, vascular malformations, or selected tumors may need evaluation.
